DOK: Khronos is great but how about plain opengl? we should head for the desktop one day shouldnt we

DOK: Do we have any alternatives? My biggest concern is compatibility. What kernels will be soon ready for it? And i kindoff dislike the idea of beign so bount to the Linux kernel...

DOK, Niels and other devs: How is this part of DFB2 doing? Are we going DRI2? how about KMS? We need news from you! :)

GTK

Full support for Gtk? That can't be a feature of DirectFB. Gtk with full support OF DirectFB sounds more rational to me, and independent from DFB 2.0
